Today I passed the Microsoft 70-236 exam (Exchange Server 2007, Configuring). It was not very difficult exam. As learning material I used this book from Sybex, a home lab running ESX 3.5 U3 with 3 Virtual Machines (Domain Controller, Exchange 2007 and Windows XP Client with Office 2007). And recently I migrated the Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 organization at a customer site. Anyway here are some tips about the exam:
- Learn all basic cmdlets, 50% of the questions is about the cmdlets.
- Know all Exchange 2007 server rolls (Mailbox, Client Access, Hub and Edge). I didn’t get any questions about the Unified Messaging Server.
- Learn how to recover the Exchange 2007 server rolls.
- Gain some hands-on experience. Build a home lab and play with it.
Good luck!
Cheers!
